We will be having a comprehensive JAZZ &
IMPROV series with Jamie Murrell. He will be
teaching us the how-to's for playing jazz and
the know-how to improv! Our very own Jeni
Berecek will be supplementing this series on
how to apply these techniques to the cello. She
will teach "chops" and "ghost bowing" and
other fun ways to play alternative music on the
cello.
We will also be learning the basics on the
recording industry and cool effects made
possible by cutting edge equipment. This class
will be taught by Jeff Hufnagle.
